Motor point acupuncture treatment on a patient's back.

Effective Pain Relief Without Surgery or Painkillers

Motor point and trigger point acupuncture that gets to the source of your pain — restoring function, releasing tension, and helping you move freely again.

Treating the Source, Not the Symptom

A Different Approach

Most pain treatments aim to suppress the signal — numbing the nerve, masking the sensation, dampening the inflammation. They rarely ask why the pain is there in the first place.

Motor point and trigger point therapy is different. By placing needles into the specific spots where muscles are locked, shortened, or neurologically overactive, we reset the muscle to its resting length, restore normal blood flow, and let the body finish healing what it has been trying to heal all along.

What We Treat

Common Conditions

01 Neck & Shoulder - Chronic stiffness, trapezius tension, whiplash recovery, tech neck, postural strain.
02 Lower Back & Sciatica - Disc-related pain, piriformis syndrome, gluteal trigger points, post-surgical stiffness.
03 Headaches & Migraines - Tension headaches, cervicogenic pain, jaw-related (TMJ) head pain.
04 Sports & Overuse - Running injuries, tennis and golfer's elbow, rotator cuff strain, IT band syndrome.
05 Joint & Limb Pain - Knee, hip, ankle, wrist — chronic inflammation and post-injury recovery.
06 TMJ & Jaw - Clenching, grinding, masseter and pterygoid tension, post-dental-work pain.
Expert non-surgical intervention for lasting mobility.
Advanced clinical acupuncture targeting the root cause.
Comprehensive recovery for chronic and acute symptoms.

The Method

Why Motor Point Therapy Works

Anatomy-Based Acupuncture — Direct work on the muscles that keep you locked up. A motor point is the exact spot where a nerve enters a muscle — the place where the signal that makes the muscle contract is most accessible. When a muscle has been overworked, injured, or held under chronic tension, that signal gets stuck in the on position. The muscle shortens. Blood flow drops. Waste products accumulate. Pain follows. Placing a needle at the motor point briefly interrupts that signal, allowing the muscle to release fully. Most patients feel the change during the first session — a lengthening in the muscle they had not realized was tight, a noticeable drop in pain, freer range of motion.

What to Expect

Your first visit is 75-90 minutes. We review your pain history, screen for red flags, and do a hands-on orthopedic assessment to identify exactly which muscles are involved.

01 Intake & Assessment

Targeted motor point and trigger point needling at the source of your pain. Most patients feel a meaningful shift in the first session — sometimes within minutes.

02 First Treatment

A short series of weekly sessions, then re-assessment. Most acute presentations resolve in 4-6 visits; chronic conditions may take longer, with maintenance as needed.

03 Recovery Plan

Personalized strategy for long-term health and peak function.
